What is a Ford Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle?
A Ford Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) vehicle is a used vehicle that has gone through an official and thorough inspection and reconditioning process that guarantees a like-new quality.
Can all Fords be Certified?
No. Only cars that are less than six years old and have fewer than 80,000 miles on the odometer are eligible to become Certified. If eligible, they must pass a rigorous inspection that will evaluate the state of the vehicle.
What does the inspection involve?
All Certified vehicles must pass a 172-point comprehensive inspection completed by a Ford-trained technician. If any part doesn't pass the test, it is reconditioned or replaced with factory-authorized parts. A CARFAX Vehicle History Report is then provided along with a complete Ford service history review. Only then can a Ford vehicle be labeled as Certified.
What about warranties?
Each Certified vehicle comes with a 12-month/12,000-mile limited warranty that covers over 1000 components of the car, as well as a 7-year/100,000-mile powertrain limited warranty. Visit the dealership for more details.
Are there any other bonuses?
Absolutely. All Ford CPO vehicles come with 24-hour roadside assistance, which includes towing assistance, car rental reimbursement, trip interruption coverage, fuel delivery, flat tire changes, and even jump starts.
All of that sounds good. Where can I get a Ford CPO vehicle?
At Robbie Roberson Ford in Waycross, Georgia, of course! Just check for vehicles marked "Ford Certified Pre-Owned" on our website or visit us and ask. We understand if it's hard to tell them apart sometimes, as CPO vehicles can be nigh indistinguishable from their new counterparts!
