Coming Soon: 2017 Ford Escape Debuts Sync 3 Technology

Today, Ford Motor Company announced via a press release the exciting news that production of the significantly upgraded 2017 Escape is currently underway and is set to arrive in dealerships across the country in May.

Ford's all-new SYNC Connect technology delivers remote control convenience features, like remote start and door locking, through the new FordPass technology. The first Ford model to include support for both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, the 2017 Escape will also offer a suite of available driver-assist technologies, such as Lane Keep Assist and Automatic Cruise Control.

The Louisville Assembly Plant in Kentucky has been producing the Escape since 2012. As demand increases for Ford's number-one SUV nameplate, the company has introduced multiple new attention-to-detail stations to ensure the maintenance of the high standard of quality that put the Escape in a tie as Highest-Ranked Compact SUV by J.D. Power in Initial Quality.

“We’re constantly evolving and improving our processes, and the J.D. Power award is our reward,” said David Farley, Louisville Assembly Plant quality manager. “It’s a real tribute to the thousands of workers who help create every Escape vehicle.”
